About In-Between Therapy

Woman with curly dark hair and a gold shirt smiling outdoors with green plants in the background.

Hi, I'm Shamalla.

My path to social work was shaped by my own experience of leaving a high-control religious environment in early adulthood. Through this journey, I came to understand the courage it can take to question long-held beliefs, rebuild your sense of self, and navigate life on the “outside”.

Working with me means being met with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we explore your experiences together. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs and goals.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dog. I love travelling, playing video games, cooking, and swimming.
